Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands on Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our backend systems, including designing and implementing APIs, integrating with third-party services, and working with our frontend team to ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in Azure Functions, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement APIs for our backend systems
Develop and maintain backend systems using Node.js and Azure Functions
Integrate with third-party services and APIs
Ensure the scalability, availability, and security of our backend systems
Optimize application performance and implement best practices for code quality and testing
Work closely with our frontend team to ensure a seamless user experience
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with our backend systems as needed
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development
Proficiency in Node.js and Azure Functions
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with Agile methodologies and Git version control is a plus
