Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in Golang and the Gin framework to join our innovative team. As a Backend Engineer at Tymeline, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. Your work will be critical in supporting our platform's advanced AI capabilities and seamless data integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Golang and the Gin framework.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the backend systems.
• Implement and optimize algorithms for data processing and retrieval.
• Work with concurrency and multithreading to build efficient and scalable systems.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity and security.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high standard of code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in backend development and Golang.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and the Gin framework.
• Excellent understanding of concurrency, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of security best practices and data protection.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
