Role overview - Associate Director Engineering
Tap Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Engineering to lead our dynamic engineering team. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our cutting-edge AI-driven healthcare platform. You will be instrumental in building both consumer and B2B applications across mobile, SDK and PWA, creating APIs for third-party services, and ensuring the seamless integration of our platform within the broader healthcare ecosystem.
Job Description
• Being hands-on with code.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers in the workstream, setting clear goals and priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and data science, to identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives.
• Rapid prototyping of proof-of-concept stage projects.
• Oversee project planning, team allocation, and task delegation.
• Follow up with the development of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of growth initiatives and iterate on strategies accordingly.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in growth hacking and apply them to our products.

• Strong exposure to frontend and backend engineering
• Good technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages/technologies such as Node js, JavaScript, GoLang, Python, React Native, Flutter, etc
• Deep Understanding of Cloud Native Technologies: Elastic Search, Mango DB, Spanner, Big-Table, Kukernatics, etc
• Strong expertise in Cloud Architecture, deployment, and optimization (GCP/AWS).
• Experience in managing and implementing security and privacy
• Preferable exposure in developing and deploying AI tech involving LLM, NLP, ML, NLP etc
• Great problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least two years leading a team in a high-growth consumer internet or e-commerce environment
