We are looking for a talented PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in one of the following PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, and CakePHP.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proficient in at least one of the PHP frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter and CakePHP used for backend development.
• Strong understanding of commonly used databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with API design and development.
• Understanding of security principles and how they apply to web applications and API Development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as backend developers often work closely with other developers, designers, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Develop web applications using PHP and its frameworks.
• Develop and maintain Rest APIs
• Design, develop, and maintain MySQL or Postgres databases for web and mobile apps
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Integrate payment gateways into applications.
• Optimise backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems to identify and fix issues.
• Participate in the code reviews process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
• Test and debug web application to ensure that it is functioning as expected
