Backend Engineer- Java- Tech Lead:
Years Of Experience: 5 to 10 Years
Roles & Responsibilities:
• The Senior Engineer is expected to interact with technical teams in India and Japan for design, implementation and review.
• Analyze and understand user requirements to envision strong technical solutions.
• Write scalable Java/J2EE code to enable business driving features for mission critical services Build microservices and REST APIs cross cutting technologies for enhancing authentication, logging, throttling, metering and other analytics features.
• Optimize and manage current codebase to keep running and highly available.
• Write test cases and expand test coverage for the code to maintain code quality.
• Mentor junior engineers and help develop a high performance team.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5-12 years of experience in software development.
• Strong problem-solving skills, fantastic attitude.
• Strong coding skills (preferably in Java or Kotlin) Proven track record of delivering high availability, high performance, largescale complex applications.
• Hands-on with Java, JEE ecosystem, web services architecture, design patterns and frameworks.
• Extensive experience in following web technologies: J2EE, REST, Kafka, JSON, Cassandra, MySQL, Spring Boot, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience or understanding of concepts to build Reliable, scalable, fault tolerant, extensible and highly available distributed systems.
• Experience in NoSQL and SQL databases Good understanding of development practices and tools in devops, release engineering and infrastructure management (GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes etc
