Job Description
As a developer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. As a Python Developer, your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.
Responsibilities:
Write code that will impact the businesses of thousands of SMEs across the globe.
Collaborate with Frontend to write, test, and deploy API endpoints.
Brainstorm features with the product team and guides decisions based on your knowledge of the codebase.
Take full ownership of the product starting from architectural and design decisions to shipping.
Must Haves:
1+ year of professional experience building server applications using Python/Django along with Django Rest Framework and deploying those applications to the cloud.
well-versed in building scalable, understandable, and testable code with an eye toward maintainability.
A good understanding of multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python.
In-depth knowledge of relational databases, as well as key-value databases, are capable of designing scalable database models based on product requirements.
Experience with in-memory databases such as Redis and queuing frameworks for running tasks asynchronously.
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
Comfortable picking up new stacks and choosing the right tool to get the job done.
Good-to-Haves:
Experience taking mock designs from Figma or some other design tool and turning it into code.
Expertise in PostgresSQL.
You have some Python/Django-based projects on GitHub
Experience in Chatbot Development
Knowledge of AWS and Dev Ops
Experience working with tools like Postman, Github, etc
