Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

Support cooks and chefs during service by preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and plating food as required.

Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff members.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.

Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting any shortages to management.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.

Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
