Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of cold menu items, including salads, wraps, fruit cups, parfaits, and catering trays, while maintaining efficiency and safety around kitchen equipment.
Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and prep area, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness at all times.
Stay updated on new products introduced by Chick-fil-A and incorporate them into your food preparation.
Wash and put away kitchen dishes to maintain a well-organized workspace.
Complete assigned tasks to ensure consistency in product quality and guest experience, aligning with our brand, culture, and commitment to excellence.
Communicate effectively with fellow team members and leaders, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
Stand for periods of up to 3.5 hours during your shift, demonstrating stamina and dedication to your responsibilities.
Possess basic math and measurement skills to accurately portion ingredients.
Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant environment by performing tasks such as mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, and caring for equipment.
Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and health inspection standards, ensuring adherence to EcoLab guidelines.
Assemble, clean, maintain, and operate kitchen equipment
Obtain a Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire to meet food safety requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have a source of reliable transportation
Ability to handle all equipment, pans, pots, navigating shelving both high and low
Works in hot, noisy and fast paced environment
Consistent and reliable
Loves serving and helping others
Able to multi-task
Works well independently and in a team environment
Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
Have the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
