Job Description – Back Office Executive
Position Title: Back Office Executive
Department: Operations / Administration
Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai, India
Reporting To: Operations Manager / Director
Experience: 1–2 years in back office or operations support (preferably in an e-commerce company)
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview:
The Back Office Executive will be responsible for handling administrative, documentation, and coordination tasks to support sales, purchase, and logistics teams. The role demands attention to detail, accuracy in data management, and the ability to handle multiple operational tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Check and approve documents like purchase order, goods receipt note, etc on the platform.
· Coordinate with vendors, clients, and transporters for order updates and documentation.
· Assist in data entry, order tracking, and maintaining ERP / Excel records.
· Verify bills, challans, and delivery receipts before filing and submission.
· Prepare reports for management on sales, stock movement, and pending orders.
· Maintain and organize files, records, and correspondence in a systematic manner.
· Provide administrative support to the operations and accounts team as required.
· Ensure compliance with company documentation and audit standards.
Required Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and basic data entry tools.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to coordinate with multiple departments efficiently.
· Knowledge of billing, documentation, and basic accounting preferred.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in the steel, trading, or logistics sector will be an advantage.
Qualifications:
· Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
· 1–4 years of experience in back office or operations roles.
· Freshers with good computer and communication skills may also apply.
Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
