As a senior developer you will bring front end development and design skills to enforce the group of developers within a Squad. You will extensively make use and apply Continuous Integration tools and practices in the context of Deutsche Bank’s digitalization journey.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Support the design and implementation of an entire engineering solution to accomplish business goals in close collaboration with Solution Architect.
• Act as liaison between architecture team and development squads.
• Communicate and defend architecture and design guidelines, decisions and best-practices to the development squads.
• Analyse mandatory technical updates, document solution approach, explain and support implementation by development squads.
• Participate in (pull-request based) code reviews for important changes, with a strong focus on good OO design and the use of proven patterns.
• Support the move to fully automated CI/CD and DevOps way of working.
• Support developers when stuck on specific issues, and create a knowledge base of appropriate solutions to common problems.
• Take the lead in CoE community, discuss and define best-practices in collaboration with squads and architects
• Manage individual task priorities and deliverables.
• Responsible for quality of solutions he/she provides.
• Contribute to planning and continuous improvement activities.
Your Skills And Experience
• Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
• Has Java solution design and development experience for at least 8 years
• Has Java Spring Boot development experience, with a deep understanding of the concepts and best-practices to make most effective use of this framework
• Has practical and applied knowledge of design patterns (and anti-patterns) in Java in general and Java Spring Boot specifically
• Has experience with cloud development platform: OpenShift/ Kubernetes/Docker configuration and deployment using Helm. Knowledge of GCP is a plus
• Has experience with DevOps tools e.g; GIT, TeamCity, Maven, SONAR
• Good understanding of REST architectural style, MicroServices concepts and technologies
• Experience with software design patterns
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environment, and using the common collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence…)
• Experience in working with distributed/multi-locations teams
• Understand and promote Agile values: FROCC (Focus, Respect, Openess, Commitment, Courage)
• Very Good communication skills
• Pro-active teamplayer
• Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary, self-organised teams
• Professional knowledge of English
• Proven interest and focus to stay up-to-date with technology evolution in the scope of application development and deployment.
• Very good understanding of application security concepts, and experience using solutions like OAuth2, mutual TLS, certificates and PKI.
Commitment to create detailed and complete technical instructions, and promote these to the development squads.
