New Vision has developed, deployed and managed digital imaging solutions for B2C photo personalization that include mobile, web and professional photography workflows. It has also developed the backend systems including job routing, image processing, order fulfillment, business intelligence and analytics.
Backend Developer
We are looking for a backend developer who has a passion for building fault tolerant, reliable, high performance backend systems. You’ll be working on our core backend services that include our imaging pipeline, job processing pipeline, and various e-commerce and fulfillment microservices. You’ll also play a role in building a devops culture in our team. You’ll collaborate with our remote Product, Development and Testing teams to achieve these goals.
Responsibilities:
• Understand technical and business requirements
• Design, develop and monitor API’s
• Design and develop AWS step functions and lambda functions
• Follow a Clean Code approach to designing and developing backend systems
• Design database schemas
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Work closely with our QA team to automate backend system tests
• Find ways to improve our release iteration speed
• Maintain SLA’s and ensure our systems are operating to specification
Qualifications:
• 2+ years development experience as backend developer
• Proficiency with JavaScript or Typescript
• Hands on experience with Node.js
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Strong database systems understanding
• Strong knowledge of cloud native architectures and various AWS services
• Docker experience a plus
Location : Goa or Remote( WFH – India)
