DAY OF AN BACKEND INTERN @ GG
• After a healthy breakfast, you will start off your day with sync up with your team.
• You would share the tasks you completed and listen to others to align yourself with the progress of the project.
• You might also receive new tasks to complete.
• After that you would start with your coding. This usually involves building new features and debugging issues within the app with a cup of tea /coffee and munchies in between.
• After lunch, you will continue coding / have meetings to clarify your tasks.
• At the end of the day, you would log your progress, plan your tasks for tomorrow and sign off.
QUALIFICATION
• Ability to take complete ownership of the services you build.
• A deep passion for bringing cool ideas to life.
• Strong knowledge of either Golang, Python, Java or Rust (All are good too).
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes or similar dev ops stools is good to have.
• Having created an application from scratch is a huge plus.
