Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality Python solutions.
- Develop and maintain Python-based web applications and APIs using Flask, Django, or FastAPI frameworks.
- Integrate data storage solutions using MongoDB or other preferred databases.
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code to ensure the overall performance and scalability of applications.
- Implement security measures and data protection to safeguard sensitive information.
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs and issues promptly.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and responsiveness.
- Deploy and host Python applications or APIs on cloud platforms or servers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Proficiency in at least one Python web framework such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Familiarity with database systems, preferably MongoDB.
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience deploying and hosting Python applications or APIs on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
