Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and skilled Backend Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities Backend Development 1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and reliable backend systems. 2. Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. 3. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with frontend applications. System Architecture 1. Design and implement system architectures that meet business requirements. 2. Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Database Management 1. Design, implement, and maintain databases to store and manage data. 2. Ensure data security, integrity, and performance. 3. Collaborate with data analysts to optimize data storage and retrieval. API Development 1. Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs. 2. Ensure API security, scalability, and performance. 3. Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs with frontend applications. Testing and Deployment 1. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. 2. Ensure code quality, security, and performance. 3. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment of backend services. Requirements Education 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 2. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience 1. 3+ years of experience in backend development, preferably with expertise in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. 2. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 3. Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes. Skills 1. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. 2. Experience with backend frameworks such as Spring, Django, or Express.js. 3. Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and query optimization. 4. Experience with API design, development, and security. 5. Strong understanding of testing principles, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. Performance Metrics 1. Code quality, security, and performance. 2. System scalability, reliability, and performance. 3. API design, development, and security. 4. Database performance, security, and integrity. 5. Collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
