About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Backend Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. As an intern, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. This position is perfect for Last year student and recent graduate individuals looking to gain practical experience and contribute to impactful projects while learning from experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Backend Development: Assist in designing and implementing efficient and scalable backend services using the Spring Boot framework.
• Data Processing: Help develop and integrate data processing pipelines using technologies such as Apache Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and assist in translating them into technical solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Support the implementation of caching strategies to enhance application performance.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the Java and Spring ecosystem.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to ensure the reliability of our systems.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Java & Spring Boot: Basic understanding of Java and Spring Boot development.
• Data Structures & Algorithms: Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and their application in Java.
• Databases: Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about technical challenges.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
• Code Practices: Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
• Message Queuing & Caching: Exposure to message queuing systems like Apache Kafka and caching solutions like Redis.
• Development Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
