Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop robust backend systems for proactive incident management and post-incident processes.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers, architects, and TPMs in an open and collaborative environment.
• Review code with best practices in mind, including readability, testing patterns, documentation, security, performance considerations, and reliability.
• Leverage data to drive improvements in backend performance and incident management processes.
• Mentor teammates by sharing expertise through formal and informal knowledge sharing sessions.
• Ensure full visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of high-performing backend services.
• Participate in Agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and demo sessions.
Qualifications:
Your Background:
• At least 4 years of experience developing backend applications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science.
• Experience crafting scalable RESTful microservices.
• Proficiency in modern object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, Python).
• Fluency in database technologies (RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB or Cassandra).
• Demonstrated ability to design reliable systems delivering high availability for customers.
• Passion for collaboration and strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns, public cloud offerings (AWS, GCP, Azure), and SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry.
