We’re hiring a Background Screening Analyst to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. You’ll play a critical role in verifying employment and education history, conducting reference interviews, and supporting client organizations in building safer, more trustworthy environments.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct reference checks and verify education/employment histories for background screening purposes
Contact clients and applicants by phone and email to gather necessary information
Accurately document steps and communication in internal systems
Manage multiple screening tasks while maintaining high accuracy and professionalism
Communicate clearly and kindly—even during challenging conversations
Meet productivity and quality standards set by the team
Support other team projects and compliance-related work as needed
Other projects and tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For
At least 6 months of experience in an office, administrative, or research role
Strong typing skills and comfort using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Comfortable on the phone and able to build quick rapport
Highly organized, dependable, and able to multitask under pressure
Excellent written communication and documentation skills
A strong sense of discretion and care when handling sensitive information
Experience in background screening or knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is a plus—but not required
