The purpose of the Banker Digital Experience Tribe is to enable our Bankers to deliver great service to customers, through intelligent, integrated tools and processes. Bankers will become advocates of the solutions they use, reflecting the fact that we put our frontline teams at the centre of everything we do. In the Bankers Experience Tribe, our mission is to enable our bankers to deliver great service to our customers. We develop and operate: -
• The ANZ Customer Service Platform (CSP) that runs on OpenShift and Google Cloud Platform and is used by multiple applications throughout ANZ
• The ANZ Contact Centres
• Critical banking services utilised within our Branch network
We are looking for people who are passionate about transformational change and doing great things for our customers, to help us redefine banking for the future. Joining a supportive and highly efficient team, you will be delivering innovative products and supporting the existing platform.
As an Engineer, your mission is to design, build, manage and support technical assets and solutions that help ANZ frontline serve our customers
You will demonstrate a thirst for better understanding the customer and define the problem and develop solutions through their eyes. You will build sustainable solutions that protect customers, stakeholders and the community
You will constructively challenge the status quo, look for better ways to do things and passionately advocate continuous improvement. You will be tackling complex problems and use critical thinking, your network, skills, knowledge, and available data to drive better outcomes for our customers and the bank.
The 'must have' knowledge, skill and experience (KSE) the role requires are:
• 7+ years Experience in Java, J2EE and any framework like Spring, BTT, Struts (highly recommended)
• Experience working in IBM HTTP Server, IBM Websphere and Liberty, JMS, MQ, Hardware device integration over the network using WebAPIs
• Experience in containerised platform including Red Hat Linux/Kubernetes/OpenShift infrastructure
• Experience working in one or more database technologies mainly SQL Server.
• Experience working in Atlassian and CI/CD tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Gihub/Bitbucket, ANT, Bamboo/Jenkins, Artefactory, Codefresh
• Experience working in one or more monitoring/alerting tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace
• Experience working in large enterprise & globally distributed systems and be able to work with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable applications
• Working knowledge of network and common data centre infrastructure
• Experience working in agile methodologies would be preferred
• Exposure to server virtualisation, Windows 10, VDI - Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and general thin client architecture
