Duties
Help to develop a baking program at The Hardware Store Restaurant.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain high standards.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling techniques.
Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs as required.
Participate in catering events as needed, ensuring all baked items are prepared to specifications.
Skills
Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation.
Experience in the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting.
Knowledge of dietary aide responsibilities and food service operations.
Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
