Key Responsibilities:
• Baking Expertise: Prepare a variety of bakery items, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts, ensuring high standards of taste and presentation.
• Recipe Development: Develop new recipes and improve existing ones, keeping up with the latest trends in bakery products.
• Quality Control: Ensure consistency and quality in all bakery products, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to prevent shortages and wastage.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team and other chefs to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of bakery items.
• Training & Supervision: Train and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high performance levels.
• Customer Satisfaction: Interact with customers, gather feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction with bakery products.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience as a Bakery Chef or in a similar role.
• Skills: Strong baking skills, creativity in recipe development, attention to detail, and excellent time management.
• Education: Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Other: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, good communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
