Production Manager – Bakers Delight (North Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne)

Location: North Eastern Suburbs, Melbourne, VIC
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Rotating roster including early mornings (from 2am) and weekends

We’re seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead our team in Melbourne’s north eastern suburbs. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your baking career with a highly respected multi-site operator.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the bakery’s production schedule to meet daily customer demand
Bake and present high-quality products to brand standards
Lead, train, and develop the production team
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
Create and manage staff rosters efficiently
Manage stock control, ordering, and inventory
Ensure compliance with food safety and operational audits (5-Star standards)
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Baker with trade certification
Prior experience in a production management or team leadership role
Strong organisational and communication skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings (from 2am)
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends
