Tech M&A Analyst – Investment Banking, Scouting
We are looking for a creative bent of mind with a strong interest in investment deal sourcing and scouting across a wide range of Technology industry verticals (AI, Data Analytics, Cloud, Consulting, B2B SaaS, FinTech, etc.) As a Tech M&A Analyst - Investment Banking, Scouting, you will take on various responsibilities such as leading deal sourcing, networking and outreach activities within the assigned Technology sector(s). You must have proficiency with preparing a range of investment collateral - pitch decks/IMs, investment memos, and have strong email communication skills with an ability to write well researched emails for investors, Entrepreneurs, CEOs as required. Experience with running investment/ deal sourcing campaigns or M&A campaigns from design stage or running drip campaigns and retargeting campaigns and generating summarised reports and metrics for effectiveness would be a plus.

Job Description
• Leading M&A and Investment sourcing, networking and outreach activities for the assigned Technology sector(s). This involves building relations with Tech founders, investment banking professionals, institutional investors and strategic acquirers.
• Researching Technology companies across different sub sectors including IT Services, AI, Cloud, IoT, etc. based on certain key parameters that help qualify leads
• Building and maintaining key information repository and contact databases with high accuracy
• Assisting with the deal sourcing and scouting process and being able to work on pitch decks, teasers and other investment or marketing collateral as required
• Planning and organising investor/CxO networking events and specialised investment industry thought leadership panels
• Coordinating and scheduling discovery calls with qualified companies, investors, etc. and manage emails/follow ups proactively
• Conduct secondary research based on the specific technology sector and conduct market analysis
Key Requirements:
• An individual with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced, startup like environment
• Minimum of 2 years of investment sourcing and scouting experience with a tech accelerator, venture investing firm or investment bank.
• Educational background MBA finance from a reputed institute. CA/CFA L1 cleared and CFA L2 candidates can also apply.
• A curious individual whose is a passionate researcher of tech companies
• Possess interest to identify and develop opportunities through insightful secondary research and can browse extensively
• Must have strong inner drive and self-discipline, proficiency in MS Excel,
• Experience within B2B SaaS, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation segment is a plus
• Fluency in written and spoken English as well as strong communication and tele-calling skills
