We are looking to hire a Market Data Client Business Advisor to support market data operations for our banking client in Mumbai, India. Candidates for this role are required to have specialized skills and industry expertise to effectively perform the following tasks:

• Provide direct support to front office market data subscribers and COO expense authorizers providing guidance on Market Data strategy
• Engagement with assigned 3rd party market data providers – including responsibility for negotiating commercial terms of new and renewing contracts, intermediation of business use case requirements, and oversight of vendor and product use rights and restrictions
• Administrative oversight of all market data product requirements specific to assigned Lines of Business (LOBs)
Candidates should have prior experience working in a fast-paced, market data support environment. Requirements include:
• Strong interpersonal skills, presentation and contract negotiation skills, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal clients and third party market data providers
• Subject matter expertise – financial industry, global markets, real-time and non-real time data providers and product knowledge
• Ability to generate, interpret and present market data inventory and expense management reports
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, plus working knowledge of market data inventory database tools
• Teamwork/collaboration skills necessary to partner with a global peer group of market data professionals in addition to related technology, sourcing, finance, and other industry professionals
Market Data Business Advisor (BA) support responsibilities to include the following:
• Monitor and troubleshoot daily high-volume order flow from BofA market data consumers across all businesses including Equities, FICC, Research, Investment Banking, Technology, Quantitative and application development
• Review and interpret inventory expense management reports with COO’s and Finance partners for multiple assigned business groups
• Manage end-to-end workflow of market data administration – review requirements, work closely with sourcing partners, proposal analysis, responsibility for accurate inventory set-up and updates, invoice reconciliation
• Monitor and annually update data licenses in place with over 60 market data suppliers and publishers, both local and global
• Review assigned vendor services, expenses, and user commitments a minimum +0 days in advance of contract renewals
• Present spend, savings, and service details for Market Data Governance and Finance review on a weekly basis
• Support Bank of America’s Third-Party Vendor Management program and related processes – e.g. Vendor Level Risk Assessments and Supplier Risk Assessments
Qualifications - Market Data Client Business Advisor (BA)
• Minimum 3-5 years Market Data experience in the financial services sector.
• Business Advisors must have the ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively at all levels, work efficiently in a team environment, and always exhibit professional integrity.
• Proven ability to manage and build relationships, both internally with key business management and with external suppliers.
• Candidates need to be self-motivated and achieve results with minimal direct supervision.
• Candidates should be familiar with real-time and research data products used in a top tier financial services environment and demonstrate an understanding of how data is used by market professionals in sales, trading, research, banking, and investment advisory roles.
