Job Description
The position will include working weekends when needed. Some experience would be great but more importantly we are looking for kind and caring people who are enthusiastic about working with older people and looking to make a positive difference to someone's life. Key duties include:
Supporting people with all aspects of their personal care
Ensuring people are given choices about their daily activities, mealtimes, choice of clothing etc
Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
Observe, monitor and record clients’ physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.
Encourage clients to participate in social and recreational activities.
There is very limited public transport to the home so your own transport would be essential.
