Bank Care Home Assistants required in Carr Gate WF2

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant on bank for nights and days to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting in Carr Gate. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. The hours are 0800-2000 and 2000-0800 on a rolling rota that involves weekends and bank holidays

Duties

- Support residents with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting

- Assist in the implementation of care plans

- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the care team

- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and their families.

- Help residents with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required

Skills

- Experience or willingness to work in a care home environment

- Ability to communicate effectively in English

- Proficiency in IT for record keeping and communication purposes

- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others

- Understanding of home care practices and procedures
