As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of daily specials and seasonal menus.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control.
• Help with the organisation of the kitchen, including inventory management and stock rotation.
• Clean and sanitise work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly.
• Support other kitchen staff as needed, fostering a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
• Understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.07 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
