Job Description
GENERAL:
The Domestic is part of the care Team and as such will have some contact with residents. The Domestic must maintain a friendly character when working with or near residents.
DUTIES:
To vacuum floors, dust and clean ornaments and surfaces, and perform any other cleaning required by under the direct orders of the Nurse on duty.
To spot clean carpets every day, where necessary.
To empty wastebaskets.
To deep clean all rooms on a rota basis.
To clean all high and low areas as required.
To ensure all toilet and bathrooms are cleaned to a very high standard.
To be familiar with C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
To clean all equipment after use.
Shifts are Monday - Sunday, 8am-12pm & 1pm-6pm (subject to change)
