Bank Healthcare Assistant | Endoscopy | Band 2 | Cheshire | Bank
Spire Cheshire Hospital is looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant for their Endoscopy department on a bank basis
The successful application will join a committed and enthusiastic team and will be rewarded with progression and the opportunity work alongside the multi-disciplinary team and experienced Consultants. We are a JAG accredited Endoscopy Unit and work hard to meet the JAG requirements.

Duties and responsibilities;
To assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary care in an endoscopy unit to facilitate effective endoscopy processes.
Prepare the appropriate equipment prior to the start of a list, which may include wheelchairs, trolleys, endoscopy accessories and undertaking the appropriate checks to ensure the equipment is clean and used safely.
Assist the Endoscopy team in ensuring correct equipment and accessories are stocked in procedure rooms at the beginning of the list
You will be responsible for reprocessing, sterilising endoscopes
Who we're looking for
Experience of working as an HCA, or another caring role based in a clinical environment
Patient/customer facing experience
2 years decontamination experience
Someone with a key interest in Endoscopy
Planning and Organisation
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
Communication and Influencing
Working Collaboratively
