Basic Purpose of Job:
The Bank Loan Services Team provides client reporting and executive reporting on a regular basis. The Bank Loan Reporting and Analysis Officer role works with a number internal stakeholders on reporting requirements for our leaders to present to clients and to internal executives to display our current priorities, on-going initiatives, and data driven analysis. It is a role which requires strong data analysis and data visualization, high levels of drive to meet the deadlines and demands , and a team orientated mentality to work with internal stakeholders to efficiently collect the data and storytelling elements behind the data.
The Incumbent would be responsible to maintain and improve the current reporting using various tools, methodologies and develop new reporting as requested by internal leaders. The role will also include centralized administrative tasks currently spread out across the team, such as system access requests. This is a management role, with direct reports and responsibility to leaders located on and off shore. As part of the management role, team building and development of staff members, as well as the management of administrative tasks are required.
• Collect and synthesize data from multiple sources to generate Executive level reporting
• Identify patterns and trends to form insights and provide actionable summaries through the use of clear, insightful, and scalable visualizations using advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Define and document data sourcing, synthesis and visualization processes
• Assess and recommend different visualization to drive automation and enhance analytics
• Streamline data synthesis, minimizing manual processes and duplicative tasks
• Create new reporting on demand, leveraging both existing formats and custom formats for the best story telling possible
• Ensure consistent use of visualizations, common data sources and agreed calculation methodology in excel.
• Expertise to enhance visualization and metrics based on feedback and data availability
• Ad-hoc tasks to be centralized within role and team, such as system access and other administrative functions
• Effective general management and development of staff members
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Global Services / Banking / Finance related discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Advanced Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, vlookup)
• knowledge in any of the BI Visualization tools like Tableau
• Working knowledge in Macros and MS Access Applications a plus.

• Ability to understand and collect requirements and change criteria from management
• Continuous Integration/Development and drive for process improvement
• Leadership and drive to create new team, document and improve upon the existing reporting controls, and build team into effective reporting unit
