Job Description
As an IT Application Owner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our applications. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining the application, ensuring compliance with applicable IT policies and procedures. This includes setting up various environments for development, testing, and production, as well as implementing and upgrading system hardware and application software.
You will also be responsible for lending discussions with business stakeholders to understand new requirements and leading discussions with vendors to implement, customize, and enhance products. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering application releases, defect fixes, and assisting more junior members of the team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of system design, development, implementation, and user support principles and practices. Familiarity with project management principles and knowledge of application architectures and fundamental principles of software interfaces is also essential. Furthermore, knowledge of IT risk and controls, IT security, COBIT, ITIL, PMP, CRISC, CSSLP, CISSP equivalent certifications is preferred.
