Roles and Responsibilities
• Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you need to analyze and solve increasingly complex problems
• Your day-to-day interactions are with peers within the company
• You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or management
• You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instructions on new assignments
• You will need to consistently seek and provide meaningful and actionable feedback in all interactions
• You will be expected to be constantly on the lookout for ways to enhance value for your respective stakeholders/clients
• Decisions to make will impact your work and may impact the work of others
• You would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team.
• Please note this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
Desired Candidate Profile
• 3 to 12 years of CA/CWA/B. Com or M. Com equivalent Accounting/Management degree or equivalent professional qualifications is preferred and experience in Insurance/Banking investments accounting and reporting
• Solid practical knowledge of derivative products/markets. In addition, knowledge of other investment products is preferred.
• Experience with the application of US GAAP hedge accounting is preferred.
• Clear/critical thinking, excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong controllership mindset: audit background is preferred.
• Good communication and interpretational skills.
• Good team-leading skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once, prioritize appropriately, and approach the work with a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail to produce high-quality results in a time-sensitive environment.
• H of motivation and initiative, ability to work independently adding strong organizational and management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
