Description
Llanarth Courtis looking to recruit a Bank Staff Nurse to join the team.
Shifts run from 07:30 to 19:45 with 1.5 hours break.
Llanarth Court is a specialist hospital providing medium and low secure care for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorder and for men with intellectual/learning disability. We also have a 4 bedded open rehabilitation bungalow. We are a sector-leading example of how providing a wide variety of care settings and a clear care pathway in the direction of recovery, can be achieved for all patients.
What you'll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patientswellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As bank staff nurse, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients
• In conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team
• Participate in regular clinical and non-clinical meetings and attend other meetings as requested
• Prioritise nursing duties and delegate appropriately and effectively within the shift co-ordination Framework, working as nurse in charge as required, ensuring as far as reasonable practicable a safe environment.

The successful candidate will hold current NMC registration and have completed a preceptorship programme. They will possess sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests, and professional practices, along with evidence of ongoing post-registration continuing professional development. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to change, improvement, and delivering high-quality care are essential for this role.
