Job description, work day and responsibilities

You will play a vital role in providing additional support on a worker bank basis only, for example, during periods of annual leave, absence, and/or increased demand. As this is a supply bank approach, there would be no obligation for you to accept any work offered and no obligation for us to offer you work – you would accept work as and when you wanted, and we would offer work if we had any shifts available.

Who Are We?

The Pure Group was formed with the primary focus to disrupt the market, and has successfully grown into a very successful collective of companies, specialising in end of life and later life planning including funeral plans, insurance products and Cremation services. We are fast moving, high growth, entrepreneurial, direct to consumer, and regulated by the FCA.

Our locations include Hampshire, Cheshire and Scotland, with a continued expansion programme.

We are the market leader, and our brand awareness is phenomenal, being the best known brand in a growing sector. We have more 5* reviews on Trustpilot than any of our competitors, with focussed ambition for continued growth, whilst maximising our competition edge.

We have strong Pure Values, and take pride in caring deeply about our customers and their loved ones. We take accountability, and we never settle for second best - working at Pure means being part of a growing, exciting Group, that makes a real difference to the people we serve.

What does our successful Private Ambulance Crew – Casual Bank Worker look like?

It is essential that you are caring, flexible and compassionate, and comfortable working under pressure, and able to communicate and connect with people at all levels in a caring manner.

You would also like to be part of an organisation that counts on professionalism, accuracy, smart appearance, appropriateness, and expertise, and you will have true compassion for our bereaved families, whilst supporting our ambulance teams to bring their deceased loved ones into our care.

The Role

Due to the nature of what we do, ambulance crew duties can be physically demanding, with an important level of manual handling. We are particularly keen to hear from people who have had experience working within the Fire Service, Social Healthcare settings, and the NHS, although we welcome all suitable applicants.

Previous experience is not essential as full training will be given, and you will be always buddied with one of our experienced Private Ambulance team members.

The successful applicant must hold a valid full driving licence and be willing to undertake a programme of training with refreshers, and to travel.

As this is a Supply Bank Worker role, there is no obligation for you to accept periods of work offered; equally there is no obligation on us to offer you work, as such this is a casual worker bank contract, it is NOT a Zero Hour contract.
