Your responsibilities will include:
Providing practical and emotional support to people with a learning disability.
Identifying opportunities for social inclusion with tenants.
Work with tenants, staff team, families and involved professionals to meet the needs of tenants.
Assisting your manager with the day to day running of the service.
Experience of working with people with a learning disability and a relevant qualification is desirable but not a necessity. This job requires a clear DBS certificate.
You must have a warm and friendly disposition and work in a person-centred way with people who have a learning disability. You must be patient, adaptable and of a caring nature.
You will be expected to work to a rota which could include days, evenings, weekends, sleeps and wake nights.
