Bank Support Worker

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our resident wellbeing. As a Bank Support Worker, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
Through own professional behaviour, including adhering to policies and procedures, contributes to the maintenance of safety, security and confidentiality standards.
To undertake key working responsibility for individual service users, supporting the individual to plan goals and personal outcomes and ensure that these are comprehensively documented and reviewed. Innovation
The role holder should have a flexible and innovative approach to their work and be able to facilitate and support service users in decision making, promoting choice and involvement at all times.
The role holder should present the service in a positive light and should be proactive in making suggestions for how to improve the service.

What you'll bring to the role

The successful candidate will ideally possess an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a related area, or an equivalent or higher recognised qualification, as well as GCSEs or NVQ Level 2 in English and Maths. However, it is acknowledged that not all new recruits will already hold the NVQ Level 2 qualification; therefore, they will be expected to begin the qualification process within six months of starting the role and complete it within a designated timeframe. Previous experience in a related environment is desirable and would be beneficial to the role.
