Job Description
Develop and implement strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to financial crimes.
Monitor and assess the bank's activities to identify potential financial crime risks and take necessary actions to mitigate them.
Conduct thorough investigations into any suspected financial crimes and report findings to senior management.
Collaborate with various departments within the bank to ensure all processes and procedures are in line with regulatory requirements.
Keep up-to-date with industry developments and trends related to financial crimes and make recommendations for improvements to the bank's compliance program.
Provide training and guidance to bank employees on financial crime prevention and reporting procedures.
Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors regarding financial crime compliance matters.
Participate in cross-functional teams to develop new products and services, ensuring they comply with applicable regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all financial crime compliance activities.
Collaborate with other compliance officers to share best practices and enhance the bank's overall compliance program.
Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of the bank's financial crime compliance program.
Adhere to the bank's code of conduct, ethical standards, and corporate policies.
Represent the bank in a professional manner and uphold its reputation as a leading financial institution.
