Weekly Scheduled Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
SUMMARY
As a Banking Center Operations Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in leading our team of tellers to deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will ensure compliance with policies and procedures while supporting our marketing efforts and cross-selling products. This position is key to providing accurate and timely financial transactions in a retail banking environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Efficiency
• Oversee all cash operations, including cashboxes, vault, ATM, and TCRs, ensuring proper management and security.
• Process client transactions with precision and make sound judgments to prevent fraud and errors.
• Communicate vital updates on operational policies and compliance to the team.
• Ensure secure handling and access controls in accordance with bank procedures.
• Assist in cash audits and maintain records accurately to minimize risk.
Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to bank regulations, risk management, and internal controls.
• Lead operational performance and control key risk areas of the center.
• Follow all audit and security protocols during banking hours.
• Manage inventory of cash and other financial instruments through dual control.
Client Experience
• Champion excellent client service and quickly resolve client concerns.
• Support clients in their service needs and streamline transaction processes.
• Continuously enhance knowledge to serve clients better through training and professional development.
Sales and Service
• Drive sales by cross-selling products and making referrals to bank partners.
• Clearly communicate product benefits and relevant information to clients and associates.
Team Management
• Oversee workflow and schedule staff involved in financial transactions.
• Coach and motivate the team to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Assist in performance evaluations and identify training needs.
• Facilitate meetings to communicate policies and encourage ongoing development.
• Promote sales, product knowledge, and client service during team discussions.
Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To succeed in this role, individuals should meet the following criteria:
• High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in banking or related fields, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
• None required.
NMLS Language
This position is subject to a background credit check and compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008. Ongoing employment hinges on meeting these regulatory requirements.
Assessment Requirement
• Completion of the DeGarmo Retail Behavioral Assessment is necessary for consideration.
• The assessment takes approximately 12-15 minutes to complete.
