Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Bank Reconciliation:Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify and reconcile bank statements with internal financial records.
Identify and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Investigate and resolve outstanding items or issues related to bank transactions.
Payment Gateway Reconciliation:Monitor and reconcile payment gateway transactions, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and matched.
Identify and address discrepancies or errors in payment gateway transactions promptly.
Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve any issues related to payment gateway transactions.
Vendor Payment:Oversee the vendor payment process, including verifying invoices, preparing payment schedules, and ensuring timely payments.
Coordinate with vendors to address payment-related inquiries or concerns.
Maintain accurate records of vendor payments and update relevant financial systems.
Fund Management:Monitor and manage company funds, including cash flow, liquidity, and investment portfolios.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets to ensure sufficient funds are available for business operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize fund allocation and investment strategies.
Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
Prepare financial reports, statements, and analysis related to reconciliation, payment, and fund management.
Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements in reconciliation, payment, and fund management procedures.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control within the banking and financial operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in bank reconciliation, payment gateway reconciliation, vendor payment, and fund management.
Strong knowledge of banking processes, financial systems, and regulations.
Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheet applications, and financial tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
