The role:

We are currently searching for a 2-5 year PAE lawyer to join the Banking & Finance team in our Melbourne office. In this role the successful candidate will work on high profile national matters in a dynamic team environment. You will have direct contact with clients including 4 pillar banks and other major financial institutions who are active in the Australian business and corporate lending markets. The legal work is diverse and challenging with a range of matters involving documenting, negotiating and settling transactions in the areas of property and construction finance, agribusiness finance, trade finance and general corporate funding.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

2-5 years PAE in a reputable front end Banking & Finance focused practice

Experience in documenting, negotiating and settling finance transactions involving banks and financial institutions

Strong commitment to client services and advanced communication and research skills

Ideally, you are able to work both autonomously and in a team environment (in particular one on one with partners). This is a genuine opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing firm and practice, and become an integral member of this team.
