Our client, a Magic Circle law firm, are actively seeking a Banking and Finance Support Lawyer to join them on a contract for an initial 6 month period but could extend for up to 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop as a junior legal professional within a well-regarded law firm. Depending on experience, and the firm offer great benefits including hybrid working.Job Description:Support Lawyer preferably from a Commonwealth jurisdiction or Paralegal with at least 2+ years’ experiencePrior Banking/Finance experience is necessary, experience with aviation finance deals is desirableMust present very well and be able to deal with very senior stakeholders, show resilience and be aware that long hours may be needed from time to timeThe ideal candidate must perform well on attention to detail, work ethic and technical abilitiesInitially a 6 month contract with the view to extension. We are ideally looking for at least a 12-18 month commitment due to level of training and investment that will be put into successful candidates Qualifications/Experience:LPC or BPC / SQE 1 & 2 / Foreign qualified (LLB + LLM)2:1 and above degreeReviewing, drafting and negotiating pre-engagement legal documents such as NDAs, B2B NDAs, reliance/release letters, engagement lettersAssisting IBD Legal on ad-hoc transactional work, including reviewing DD reports and legal opinionsRevising and updating internal guidelinesParticipating in charity initiatives General Requirements:Ability to work within a pressurised environmentExtremely organised - able to prioritise and manage workloadAppreciation of the culturally diverse environment in which the firm operatesExcellent eye for detail and presentationExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (sufficient gravitas and experience to work effectively with more senior colleagues including Partners, Managing Associates and Clients)
