Responsibilities:Bank Guarantee Management:
. Oversee the end-to-end process of bank guarantees, including issuance, amendment, extension, and cancellation. . Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, legal, and sales teams, to understand the specific requirements of banking guarantees for different projects and contracts.
. Liaise with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms and conditions for bank guarantees.
. Monitor and manage the documentation process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
. Maintain a comprehensive database of bank guarantees, tracking their status, expiration dates, and renewal requirements.
. Analyze and report on the utilization and performance of bank guarantees, providing insights to improve efficiency and mitigate risks. Risk Mitigation and Compliance:
. Conduct risk assessments on potential bank guarantee issuances, evaluating the creditworthiness of applicants and the associated financial risks.
. Implement risk mitigation strategies and internal control measures to minimize exposure to fraudulent activities and non-compliance.
. Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices related to banking, ensuring compliance at all times.
. Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and information related to bank guarantees. Relationship Management: . Execute Pre and Post Sanction documentation by coordination with internal teams and customers. . Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service throughout the bank guarantee process. . Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance and support on bank guarantee requirements for various projects, contracts, and transactions. . Act as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns regarding bank guarantees, providing timely and accurate responses. . Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience, suggesting improvements in processes and services.
Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
. 5 years+ experience in Bank/NBFC/Fintech.
. Deep understanding of the processes and documentation involved in issuing, amending, and canceling bank guarantees.
. Strong knowledge of financial risk management and the ability to assess creditworthiness.
. Familiarity with relevant banking regulations and compliance requirements.
. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with internal teams, banks, and financial institutions.
. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
