About this role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Outward Swift Message Processor. This individual will be responsible for authorizing outward swift messages within tight timelines with a high degree of accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of banking products and services, as well as regulatory guidelines and norms. They will also possess effective communication (verbal and written) skills, ability to manage complex client situations, risk and uncertainty management for self and team within dynamic priority-setting environments, and pressure handling and meeting deadlines.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a graduate degree and additional certificate courses related to the banking sector are preferred. The successful candidate will be willing to work night shifts and must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Authorization of swift messages: Verify customer documents and transmit approved messages.
• Sanction screening: Screen outward swift messages using our application and take action on detected hits.
• Inward message assigning: Tag free-format inward swift messages received from foreign banks to respective departments within the organization.
• Authorization of XMM messages: Verify customer documents and transmit authorized XMM messages.
• Query Corr Banking Desk: Handle queries from departments and liaise with foreign banks for resolution.
