We’re currently seeking an experienced and service-driven Banquet Supervisor / Captain to lead our event staff and ensure each event runs smoothly and professionally.

Position Overview:

The Banquet Supervisor / Captain is responsible for overseeing banquet operations during events, leading service staff, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring top-tier guest satisfaction. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone with strong service, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events

Lead and direct servers, bartenders, and support staff during functions

Act as the point of contact for clients and vendors during events

Ensure proper table settings, food presentation, and service standards

Collaborate with the culinary and bar teams for accurate timing and service flow

Monitor staff performance and provide on-the-spot coaching or support

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and ******* regulations

Assist with training new staff and maintaining SOPs for banquet operations

Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications:

2+ years of banquet, restaurant, or catering supervisory experience

Strong background in food & beverage service; bartending experience a plus

Excellent leadership and customer service skills

Knowledge of banquet event orders (BEOs) and event timelines

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays

TIPS, ServSafe, or other relevant certifications preferred
