Role Overview:
As a Banquet Attendant, you will have the unique opportunity to work across multiple dynamic venues at The Westin Brisbane and Four Points by Sheraton, gaining exposure to diverse dining experiences. You will be mainly focused on delivering exceptional service in the events venues. From providing elevated service in the Club Lounge and Settimo to delivering seamless in-room dining experiences or assisting in casual dining at Four Points, every day brings variety and growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values exceptional guest service, and is eager to develop professionally within Marriott’s world-renowned hospitality standards!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide warm, friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Strong Team work to lead your section during busy period and supports team efforts ensuring smooth operations
Anticipate and address guest needs, offering personalized recommendations and maintain a focus on guests satisfaction
Assist with table setup, order taking and ensuring time delivery of orders
Uphold brand values and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service
About You:
The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent verbal communication skills
Outgoing, enthusiastic, and approachable, with the ability to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere
Must hold a Responsible Service of ******* (Queensland)
Be available to work over a 7-day rotating roster which will include working evenings, early starts, public holidays, and weekends
