Job Title: Bar Manager – Nonna’s Cucina Main Street (New Concept by Nonna's)
Job Description: Busy + growing restaurant group is seeking a dynamic Bar Manager to lead the bar at its new Main Street location. This location taps into the busy Main Street corridor, positioning ourselves amongst some of the city' most notable restaurants.
Hospitality is in our blood, stitched into our DNA, and the foundation upon which our business is built. We are building a team of passionate professionals who take service to heart and understand its crucial importance in building a loyal, local following.
The Bar Manager, with the support and guidance from the General Manager, Operations Manager and Owners, is responsible for building the company’s presence and recognition - from a bar and service perspective - in a new area for our group.
The Bar Manager is hands-on, leading, managing and executing to our standards for service – quality, consistency and efficiency. You are responsible for all aspects of ordering and COGS management, scheduling and managing labour costs, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facility as well as staff training, coaching and developing future leaders. In this role, you will be included in our efforts to develop new seasonal bar items for this and our other locations as a group.
Your wine, beer and cocktail palette, creativity and skill are wanted here, along with your vision for service and overall business acumen. Mindfulness, precision and accountability are values we cherish, as we instill a culture where young professionals are highly engaged in their work, building their skills and growing in their careers while helping this business reach its full, untapped potential.
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Bar Manager (or a skilled Lead Bartender ready for the next step) to work alongside a passionate operations team and help build a business that is aiming to leave its mark on the culinary scene in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
Salary is $40,000 base with approximately $25,000-$30,000+ in tips per year through hands-on participation in service.
