Job Description
The Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, and managing a dedicated team of bar staff. Furthermore, your duties will include:
Ensuring that approved service sequences and standards are established and maintained at all times
Have an understanding of all licensing and operating legislation which affects the department including the Liquor Act.
Perform monthly stock takes on all beverage stock and complete timely reporting of inventory management findings.
Assist in staff rostering and developing training plans for all outlet Team Members.
Monitor the venue’s budget, control costs and maximise profitability.
Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints while providing accurate information to guests about property facilities and features.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and care of all equipment and materials
Collaborate with the Venue Manager on events and promotions.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a luxury bar
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Knowledge of bar inventory management and ordering processes
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
