About the Role:
As a Bar Manager, you will support the business to maximise potential and provide professional & friendly service. The role will require you to lead, manage & train staff and make sure daily operations are running optimally.
What You'll do:
Provide friendly, professional and quality service to all our patrons
Oversee day to day operations of the venue
Managing a positive and productive work environment for our Staff
Order & Manage stock levels and maintain supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with liquor licensing and health and safety standards
Manage back office operations such as till programming
Assisting in all areas as required to ensure smooth operation at all times
Managing multiple functions, including meeting with clients & planning
Helping manage our social media accounts
What we're looking for:
Hospitality experience working as a Bar Manager or a similar leadership role
A minimum of 1-2 years of Bar Manager or similar leadership experience
A knowledge of Beer, wine and spirits
Experience with POS and back office systems (preferably Lightspeed)
Leadership & communication skills
Approved Managers certificate & Current RSA certification
A passion for hospitality & customer service
A keen attention to detail
An ability to thrive in fast paced high pressure situations
Australian citizenship is required for this position
Experience in a similar role is crucial. The roster of this position will include rotating day & night shifts as well as weekends. This position is an opportunity to further your career in Hospitality, whilst working within a Family owned and run business.
