The Grand Hotel are seeking a Bar Supervisor to join our friendly team
We are seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to join our Cocktail Bar team. Here you will be responsible for the smooth running of the cocktail bar, ensuring stock is up to date, area is well presented and ensuring guests receive a high standard of service. You will provide support to the wider Food and Beverage team, covering service in Lounges as required. You will work with the Bar Manager and F & B Managers in developing seasonal cocktails and bar promotions.
Key Responsibilities
• To ensure that the Lounge, Bar and adjacent areas are clean, tidy and presentable at all times ensuring that guests receive the highest levels of service.
• To possess product knowledge and to be aware of all facilities in the Hotel.
• To be polite at all times, dealing with complaints in a professional manner and reporting them to the Head of Department or Duty Manager.
• To be smart at all times, wearing the correct uniform whilst on duty. Personal hygiene to be of the highest standard.
• Understand and adhere to the statutory Licensing Laws relating to the Bar.
Key Attributes
• Sound knowledge of cocktail work and UK licensing regulations, a personal licence would be an advantage, but not essential.
• Previous experience in a hotel bar with service standards would be preferred.
• Excellent command of the English language and right to work in the UK.
• Be extremely well presented.
• Attention to detail and the drive to deliver exceptional customer care at every interaction.
