Role - Cuisine Chef (Indian / Tandoor / Bakery/ Chinese)Department - Food ProductionExperience range - 4+ years in similar kind of roleLocations - Mumbai / Bangalore / Chennai / Hyderabad / Pune / Kolkata / Delhi / LucknowQualification – 10th / 12th / Graduation (Preferably a Food Production / Cookery course certificate holder) Job requirements:Should have interest in cookingPleasant personality and good communication skillsShould have complete knowledge on cuisinePositive attitude and open for learningShould be punctual and hard workingStrong decision making with experience in leading kitchen teamRole overview:To manage materials for the respective section in the kitchenTo provide the raw materials requirement to the outlet chef (to indent).Avoid shortfall of finished food due to shortage of materialControl wastage due to improper materialsTo check on contamination and all hygiene mattersRe-check on the quality of perishables, semi raw & left overTo follow the procedures while cooking and managing food in the kitchen to give best services to theTo follow standard recipes & to get it strictly checked by the Chef or by BM in hisPlan and coordinate the activities of the team to ensure operative effectiveness.Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering and retrievingManage the team to ensure the proper use of equipment and efficient completion of allMonitor grooming and personal hygiene of the team to ensure that the standards areEnsure that the team has been trained for all safety provisionsAnalyse food costs and determine most cost -effective recipes while ensuring that standards areEnsure to monitor quantity and quality of food products to ensure compliance with thestandards.Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the
