Job Summary:
A Single-Handed Machine Barista is responsible for independently operating a coffee machine station, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, handling customer interactions, and maintaining cleanliness and inventory — all while working solo. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can multitask efficiently and deliver consistent quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a single-hand espresso or fully/semi-automatic coffee machine with precision.
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, iced coffee, etc.).
Greet customers, take orders, and process payments (cash/card/mobile).
Maintain cleanliness of the barista counter, machine, and surrounding area.
Handle opening and closing duties of the coffee station independently.
Monitor inventory of milk, coffee beans, syrups, disposables, and report replenishment needs.
Clean and maintain coffee equipment on a daily schedule.
Ensure beverages meet company standards in taste, temperature, and presentation.
Manage time effectively to handle rush hours alone.
Follow hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards at all times.
Requirements:
1–2 years of barista experience, preferably in a solo or kiosk-style environment.
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso machine handling.
Ability to work independently and multitask efficiently.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Basic cash handling and POS operation knowledge.
Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and holidays.
High attention to detail and cleanliness.
Preferred Skills:
Basic latte art skills.
Knowledge of café-style snacks or add-ons (optional).
Certification in food safety or barista training (a plus but not mandatory).
